What is Tilt Sensor?

The Tilt sensor is a device for controlling the loading and unloading of trucks in the permissible slope; by simultaneously connecting the trucks unloading system and gps tracker, this sensor prevents unloading in the unauthorized slope by controlling the longitudinal and transverse permissible gradients.

Importance of Using Tilt Sensor

One of the challenges in construction and mining companies is the location of projects and the location of trucks and fleets. Because the projects have numerous ups and downs, the fleet has to evacuate the car’s load on the slope. What makes it an unsafe situation is the failure of recognition the slope allowed by the fleet and drivers. Ultimately causes the loading and unloading the unauthorized slope, causing the vehicle fleet to overturn, and in addition causing financial damage to the organization, could also cause casualties. It is in this situation that the use of the slope sensor is felt. To solve this problem, the car fleet is equipped with an unauthorized tilt detection sensor in addition to the Dolphin Vehicle Detector.

Tilt Sensor Performance

The hardware is mounted on the chassis of the vehicle and alerts the driver when the vehicle is in an unauthorized or in a dangerous slope. It can also be attached to the Relay for greater reliability to prevent unloading when declaring an unauthorized slope. In addition to alerting and permitting discharge, due to integration of this hardware with the vehicle tracker, loading and unloading locations can be obtained through fleet management system.

Tilt Sensor Specifications

Unauthorized longitudinal slope detection
Unauthorized transverse slope detection
Connecting to driver warning buzzer
Ability to connect to disconnecting relay vehicle unloading system
Ability to send load evacuation events on authorized and unauthorized slope to vehicle tracker
Waterproof and dustproof for mounting on chassis and working in harsh industrial conditions
