E-Call Agreement Between MTN Irancell & Mammut & Aviation Technology Development

Emergency Call Implementation

On the last day of the Logistics, smart Supply Chain Exhibition, a trilateral agreement for Emergency Call Implementation was signed between the aviation technology development head quarter, Mammut and MTN Irancell in order to implement an e-call system. Dolphin Apadana Company has designed its automotive fleet management system in collaboration with the operator MTN Irancell for the Mammut smart Logistics in Transport Exhibition.
This agreement is signed to develop the Emergency Call System also to reduce road casualties, which was one of the priorities of the Vice President of Science and Technology for the Improvement of aviation technology development head quarter. Mr. Abbasi – CEO of MTN Irancell and Mr. Ferdous – CEO Mammut signed the agreement.

These are the main issues come in the emergency call implementation

  1. Development of scientific and technological exchanges in order to implement the Emergency Contact System on the Mammut Fleet
  2. Planning for deploying new technologies in emergency call system to improve service and productivity
  3. Provide funding and credibility to meet the relevant standards and mass production of the emergency call system.
  4. Developing an e-call system for other automakers

Features of Dolphin Apadana smart fleet management system

The features come in Emergency Call Implementation:

  • Connect Dolphin Hardware to vehicle CAN Network and sending Data to Fleet Management System
  • Possibility of remote Diagnose via connecting to vehicles OBD
  • Launch local map service on client server with ability to display map layers
  • Various modules including monitoring driver behavior, preventive maintenance and …
  • System integration with the SOS button in the car and send instant information of all the geographical location and status of the car
  • Vehicle’s functionality details can be submitted up to 7 minutes before the accident to the vehicle fleet management system

The E-call system consists of hardware components like Dolphin gps trackers, Impact and Temperature Detection Sensors, Emergency Call (E-call) Button and Mainframe Unit which integrate with Dolphin Fleet Management Software, Vehicle Monitoring and Auto Contact Emergency centers, road police and vehicle assistance are provided. In the event of an accident, the system will automatically call the police or any emergency numbers and dispatch the nearest rescue vehicle to the scene.
